Help protect yourself from Phishing and other forms of eFraud

To report an incident of Phishing, call (913)321.4242 during business hours or click here and document your experience as completely as you can.

What is Phishing?

Phishing is defined by the Financial Services Technology Consortium (FSTC) as a broadly launched social engineering attack in which an electronic identity is misrepresented in an attempt to trick individuals into revealing personal credentials that can be used fraudulently against them.

Phishing typically involves some combination of spoofed email and/or Web pages in an attempt to deceive unwitting individuals, and harvest their personal information.

Someone intent on committing fraud will publish a Web page or Web site that attempts to mimic the site of a legitimate company, or use a URL or Domain Name that appears to be that of a legitimate business. For example, they may use a common misspelling of the company's name or may add a word, symbol or number before or after the name.

If you fear that you have provided personal information after clicking on a link or suspect fraudulent Web site behavior, please call us at (913)321.4242 during business hours or click here and document your experience as completely as you can.

Email fraud involves the sending of an email that appears to be from a legitimate business or entity in an attempt to gain personal information.

If you have received a suspicious email that appeared to be from Brotherhood Bank & Trust, please forward it to bbatrust@imaphost.com. If you have entered personal information or fear that you may have been the victim of fraudulent behavior, please call us immediately at (913)321.4242 during business hours or click here and document your experience as completely as you can.
